Oceans for Youth Outreach Volunteer Program

Educational videos and materials are available for recreational scuba divers to give presentations for students to explore the ocean environment. Featured presenters have included Leslie Nielsen, Stan Waterman, Jean-Michel Cousteau, Fabian Cousteau, Marty Snyderman, and Wayne Hasson

Educational Travel Programs

Gardens of the Queen National Park and Zapata Swamp/Bay of Pigs, Cuba aboard M/V Oceans for Youth, Jardines Aggressor I & II
Years: 2016 – present

Student and adult scuba divers and snorkelers explore marine ecosystems and participate in citizen science while learning about ocean conservation from local marine scientists.

A two-day community fair including films about marine ecology and conservation, marine lab demonstrations, and DEMA pool activities with scuba diving presentations.
